The Lonely Phoenix

The Lonely Phoenix At the top of the frozen mountain My soul rests near the youth fountain Are you here to rescue me? Or to give me more distress? Catch me falling down. Build me from the ground I am your phoenix I burn to ashes Are you with me after all? When the air is going thin Are you worth the struggle and fall? Will you be there when I sin? Could this be what it seems? A beautiful nightmare? Could this be an ugly dream? Or just a pleasant take care? I fly away into the sky hoping for love and clarity I cry away the night dying, as all I find is fear and vulgarity. I hear the haunted voices calling My time is now and I can’t keep stalling I can’t find any light I am your phoenix And when I die, I will rise again.
