The Little Drummer Boy
Little Drummer Boy
The three wise men had told me
About a journey taking place,
A baby born in Bethlehem
And the star that leads to grace.
One by one the gifts they bring
As they are laid before a stranger,
The three wise men then whispered
“He is a King born in a manger.”
I watched the little drummer boy
As Mary grinned for him to start,
He grabbed his drum and took a breath
And the beat flowed from his heart.
The baby’s face was filled with joy
When he heard Pa rum pum pum pum,
The ox and lamb kept perfect time
To the little boy and his drum.
