The Lighthouse

The lighthouse stands Surrounded by sand Longing for the return Of the warm moist water The water that caresses Tickles her toes Laps gently sometimes brushes her nose Climbing slowly the brick The water gently licks The full moon reflects Shows a slowly retreating ocean Soon the water will be pulled away Then they won't be able to play Lonely desolate the hours will be Until the water returns to thee
