The Lighthouse

She glows bright across the sea; Night siren calling to ships; Her voice rides the ocean air; She’s a life saver. Once her kind needed man’s help; Now automation rules her; She gets a bit lonely now; No keeper will come. Her life is a testament; Vigilant and courageous; She stands, sentinel of the Ocean, the lighthouse.

There's something fascinating about old lighthouses; I don't know exactly what it is but, it inspires. Something that prevents disaster and saves lives, sitting alone out there in the middle of nowhere is just captivating. Thanks again.
