The Light Before the Sunrise

Have you ever seen the light of day before the sun has risen? Have you offered a gift and not known to whom it’s given? Will you test your faith and put your life in another person’s hand? Will the brinks of time see past the brinks of man? Do you know the world is turning, yet you want it to be still? Is that special someone a million miles away but just over the hill? Do you feel your life pass you by but you’re moving as fast as you can? How do you determine in the end who is the better man? Will the stronger and faster one bear the burden of the world? Or will he bask in the glory that he knows he didn’t even earn? Is a genius smart enough to question his very own existence? Is an intellectual wise enough to think past this very instant? What happens after everything just starts tumbling down? Will a single soul be there to help you get off of the ground? Don’t you just love the predictability of irony? How it can change your life so suddenly. Will your life be like a story in a book? Will it be a test on a desk that no one ever took? Will it blow away and end up in a dark alley in your mind? Will it disappear from the view of all mankind? Or will it prove to be the glory you hoped it would be? Will it be a great perspective from the whole world to see? Will it serve its purpose and deem you worthy for the yearned trip to heaven? Will it be the light of day before the sun has risen?
