The Life Not Chosen

Wondering at the twist of fate that has brought me here I chose this life before the womb, my spirit questioning, trying to understand the tasks at hand only to realize I chose this life and now I must contend; What if I had not taken that left at the convergence, And taken the right instead, where would I be today? Hopefully not questioning and examining too. Did I make the right choice? That is yet to be seen, When all is said and done, I can not dwell on the life not chosen The life I chose is the one I need to live and give thanks for everyday.
