The Letter Part 2
Dear Poetry,
you're afraid
and what about the fears
I hear
the bittersweet insecurities
I taste
I scent hints of everlasting darkness
I hear death screaming coward
but you're afraid
fears that you could put a footprint on the moon
before you'd even begin to impress my heart
fears that I'd be suppressed with burdens
before the burdens would start
fears that I'd never breathe in such stale airs
p.s
I'm afraid you are suffocating me
but I am more afraid for Chante's sake
if we never inhale each other again
how will she breathe?
with love,
Music
