The Lesson

She smiles as she walks away she chose the perfect things to say. Happy, jumpy, satisfied she'd just avenged the nights she'd cried. She said the words that ruined your day muttering fate as she walked away she tried to warn you before it was to late that you would lose something very great I overheard her talk to you her words meant only to inflict guilt on you. "How did it make you feel" said she, "To cause me pain and misery?" "Now I'll be gone and set you free, I hope you've learned something from me." As I watched this whole scenario I learned some things one ought to know... Learn from your mistakes so you never make them Think about your promises before you break them Dont ever wait until its to late For if you do, you will lose something great.
