The Last Time

I swear it's the last time I sit here Staring at the ceiling, remembering, No reason why, you just left, I blinked and you were gone. I pack my things and get ready, You shot your arrow, struck the final blow, You always had to be right, Even when you were wrong. I don't know what I expected, But I know it wasn't this, without a last kiss, You were on your way, Didn't even look back. So many questions unanswered, You left my mind to spin, my faith to wear thin, I crumbled to the cold ground And a flood came from my eyes. I screamed at you to come back, Though in my heart, I knew we'd fallen apart, We'd never be the same, No matter how we tried. Do you remember at all? The lucky ones, when all we had was fun, Do you remember anything at all? Walking in the pouring rain and laughing. The look in your eyes, Did I misread, you told me never to bleed My wrist out again, and I Promised but I'm sorry. All those times ago, Did they mean nothing? to me they were everything, But maybe that was my mistake, Maybe I loved being with you too much. You told me to let go but tell me how, How do I let go of it all? we were so quick to fall, In and out of Love, is this the end, Is this where I too have to walk away? I never wanted the end To end up like this, without one last kiss, I wonder if you still think about me, But I guess it doesn't matter anymore....
