The Last Road
I share an awkward question with the rest of humanity,
and we ask it so often, that there's a peculiar regularity...
that being what becomes of our soul when we depart this
earthly realm, because many opinions differ, and the options
can overwhelm, since most of us prefer to maintain a certain
sense of control, it's apparent that a choice must be made
as a faithful belief will stand out from the whole, yet if I make
this decision and choose, do I have to give up...accepting to
lose, or can I continue along the way, where my habits can
cheerfully play...even though this path may lead to a short-cut,
causing this journey to begin, I suppose I'll accept the outcome,
of whatever happens to me within.
