Happy happy Christmas Alexis we are spending Christmas with our other son and his wife in Durban, Natal 341.75 miles away from Johannesburg - we are having a lovely relaxing time with them and will remain here for the next ten day. Love you dear poetry sis. Jennifer.

It has been raining since we arrived 3 days ago, but understand from tomorrow it is clearing up and our sunny days will be back again. You should buy a flat in this area prices are lower and you would escape a Winter Month for Summer! Blessings, Jennifer.

Thank-you for a considerate thoughtful comment Lindsay, our weather is very similar to yours hot but for the last few days, rainy and overcast and actually cold. I certainly understand, Jennifer. Day before yesterday I wrote a three stanza poem, then thought better for it, and erased it. It was cathartic. It was good to write it and erase it. I did not need for it to see the light of day here! It's all good. Lots of respect for you, Jennifer!

I have done this as well, dear Jennifer. People on this site know us (for better or worse) from the composite of what they read in our poems, comments, and blogs. When we realize we have misrepresented ourselves, deleting (if possible) is often the best course. This poem is a good reminder to think twice about the impact our words can have before we post them.
