The Last Petal

When drops of rain Glaze your view And everything you believed was never true. When you bloom too early And your branches grow bare When Life is made for sharing But you shared with those who didn’t care. When condensation hazes the narrow way And you have no more words to quietly say. When flakes of snow White out your perception And your heart is heavy, in need of a resurrection. When waters rise and the heavens cry And everything inside you suddenly dies. When the last petal falls Whose name will you call? Whose name will you call? When that last petal falls?
