The Last Performance
My friends, My family
They'll all be there
To see me brought out
of the dark, into the light.
Out of the night into a new and dawning day.
My last performance
I would ever give
Knowing that once they
lowered me into the ground,
Unceasing sorrow would soon abound.
Fifteen years old and gone too soon.
Knowing that even the moon
Could not lighten my eternal bed.
And then I take my eternal bow.
Let the mourning begin,
Bringing with it a new dawn.
