truly deserving of a haiku win. I am confused by the title of this contest, Kash. I am seeing many poets just did this contest and I did not understand why it said for newbies!

another beauty...simply said, and again, the mood is so fitting!......by the way, I'm so sorry to be absent these days, but will try to keep checking your poetry (you are a favorite, as you might know).....I've been away helping my daughter and grandson during a difficult loss ....my son-in-law passed away two weeks ago, so we are all rallying around to help and keep them wrapped in love. I hope to have more time as things get easier. Hope all is well with you, dear friend.
