The Land of Purity and Fun
I was whisked away on a summer’s day
To drink grape Kool-Aid and laugh and play
I was taken to the Island of Purity and Fun
Where there was no hatred, no knife or gun.
Everyone I saw was precious, kind and good.
Evil had taken an extended vacation as evil should.
Everyone was my confidant, my advisor and friend.
I truly hoped this idyllic day would never end.
One whole day full of peace, empathy and love.
Looked upon happily by the angels and gargoyles above.
No anger, meanness, bullying or hate.
When I look back there, this memory is great!
