The Kissed Words Hung

The kissed words hung, the suddenly dropped; The bombshell landed, the beseiged heart stopped, The halted breath in th winded lung, The senses numbed until they stung, The splintering pain of the shattering knock, The quivering, shivering, shuddering shock, The boiling, roiling rock in the gut, The ties that bind irrevocably cut, The savage cleaving into two from one, The sinking of the spirit, the setting of the sun, The gelatine limbs, the hows and whys, The feeble attempts to disguise the lies, The fizzing tears that render me blind, The awesome, crushing weight off my mind.
