fleetingly lost in the moment my finger tips barely touch you though I'm enveloped contained wholly embraced the power to stop you in your tracks but not hold you there forever wanting so completely to be in a moment the where from to the where to doesn't matter I existed before I'll exist again an illusion of held safely to just let go of all the forevers an echo will always be here some perfection, almost unreal that can only ever be right then am I there now or looking back? or here knowing it can't last? all thoughts are equally pained the wasteland of no more but it was and I was part of me always will be maybe that's how forever sometimes works

So many lines that have made the kiss and a part of you come alive. You have used the Ekphrasis device over again by defining and describing its essence and form, just as it says, through its illuminative liveliness, what you do DD. I do like to dive and feel it for myself to write about it :) I'm quite into the idea of moments right now - so this was perfect for that x clink clink on the bubbles :)

Were they allowed to kiss like that in 1859, well I suppose in Italy you might’ve gotten away with it, sorry I digress! Yes I believe a tender kiss can be immortalised and its echoes will remain in eternity, as indeed echoes of previous universes still permeate this one we live in today, a brilliantly figured out poem Dilly, cheers David

It's certainly an interesting thought. There are several life moments that feel like show stoppers and then are gone. Maybe those energy meets energy moments do linger after all
