The Journeyman's Quest

I may lose in a fight and cry, this is only the beginning, it will never stop me and try. I do not remember quitting for life's one hell of a struggle either a way or another. Still, let's get it on and shuffle Retrace our steps, move in faster as the cruel world's evolving, armed with faith and God in our stead so to us in this quest, marching My entire life is spent striving ahead!

I liked your piece, but would call it a couplet instead of a sonnet. Sonnets have 14 lines (about the only solid rule). Usually the first 12 lines have a pattern such as ABABCDCDEFEF (Shakespearean sonnet), or ABCABCDEFDEF (Italian sonnet), then the last two lines rhyme and also tend to resolve what came before.

Maybe I will tweak for some changes in the poem's flow and that would suffice.
