The Journey

Although I fall, I will arise. When buried deep, I'll seek the skies. If everyday seems incomplete, Still whole I'll make each task or feat. Should confidence be less than low, I'll trust and wait on One who knows. Unfolds slowly, surely, His will, Gives inner peace to calm and still. As we follow, our story's read, Like those before, in Christ, now dead; Who spent their lives pursuing death While hidden in the Rock's own cleft. For in that death, eternal birth, Sure evidence, in Christ, our worth. We must not stop but forward go - Never quit or tell Him "no." He'll come for us; He has no lied. The trump will sound, then by His side. No more to need the Spirit Guide; In His presence, with joy to abide. No call denied; No steps retreat. His promises, I will repeat. My trust in Christ; I'll rest complete. Never again to know defeat!
