The Inevitable End
The sun is dying
The giver of live on earth
will be a nova
It’s burgeoning red
It’s pulling the earth closer
The oceans turn dry
We are burning up
The sun consumes the cinder
that was our planet
Nothing else to do
The inevitable end
is now upon us
