The In Between

Time goes by in the blink of an eye. First you're born and then you die. What happens in the in between is the real scene. How we think and how we feel is framed by what we think is real. We may be wrong. We may be right. It all depends on our foresight. If we believe a thing is true it will affect what we say and do. An informed mind, A heart that's kind, Guarded emotions, and daily devotions help to make a life that's full. Just take control. Remember when the bells toll and the only destiny left is the grave, the only questions that count are: Were you brave? Did you love? Do you believe in God above? Did you give or did you take? Because then it will be...too late. By: Carole O'Terry Duet Copyright: Feb. 2016 "All Rights Reserved"

Thanks, Wendy. You're right. Life is waaaay too short. But, we have to remember this is just our earthly life. There is another life yet to come.

Hello Carole, Thanks for your recent comment on the "Demon" narrative poem by me and my two colleagues: Anne-Lise Andresen and Liam McDaid. I wanted to check out your poetry. The message of "The In 'Between" is quite compelling. Your lead verse in each stanza sets the tenor for each stanza. I like this technique. It creates that logic string that allows you to pull the reader along with you. Excellent Work!! Welcome also to Poetry Soup!! A "Seven" for sure!! Best Always, Gary
