The Hero

The dark city's in despair Waiting for a hero on his mare Soft and sweet my lonely cries Hope he hears and comes to aid The sane soul's a sanctum of his dwell As that is how is the story we tell Ruthless are his kills Deceiving, his looks Honor at its best Reminding the bravest not to bow Daring the wisest to decide the disasters bestowed Far from the different Faded in fracas Fragment of a frantic frazzle As the jitters in the crowd grow loud He walks with his pride on his sleeve Breaking the locks of his bond Beheaded by the screaming sorrow in souls So is the poetic phrase as its said, A long lost hero An inspiration dead 'Cos after all he's the freckle of a fall An intruder in them all He's the story untold, A legend in folds.
