The Heart's Waterfall
Tears flow from sounds of sorrow unheard
A lonely heart enclosed in deep despair
Haunted by whispers from night ghosts heard
A voyage into darkness, an empty stare
Emptiness measured by flow of tears
That springs from love once believed
Etches the face through passing years
To wear as a scar, a life conceived
The welling up of a heart cries alone
Captured by shadows that can never be
Wishes and dreams a memory to own
Will never blossom for eyes to see
