The Heart of You

You speak such wisdom, only God knows, You've touched my heart and have fed my soul, Through difficulties you have been there, Quietly standing we met with a stare, And in the darkest moments I saw his heart in your eyes, In the mess, under the disquise, I knew in my heart they were lessons beyond reach, That I had to grow with the experience in order to see, I knew the sound of my voice wasn't enough, This was too deep, and could be mistaken for in love, In silence so drawn, yet my heart was never alone, Faith spoke for the both of us, and brought us home, It was not what I suspected, but thankful none the less, Quietly standing there putting my heart to the test, And in that quietness, I saw the truth, The peace I found in God through the heart of you,
