The Hardened Heart
The hardened heart how it is so completely blind
Where would I start when there is nothing defined
Nothing can be understood for sure it is all too grand
In trying to do good it's His Grace they misunderstand
Nor can this person feel for you only feel as you know
Grabbing hold of the unreal in the adversary, the foe
Such a humbling sense by faith we feel His Own Touch
Yet the one who is too dense oh how they lose so much
This heart has played a role even affecting their hearing
All along it has been the soul the heart has been steering
They miss every single clue in stumbling upon their way
As you now hear me true it is in what you will now say
But most of all this one misses their chance to give praise
Now your own heart you just saw in all of your past days
Let the Lord opened that door shinning in His Glorious Light
And you'll needn't wonder anymore in the darkness of night
Isaiah 63:17
O LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways,
and hardened our heart from thy fear?
Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
