The Hard Hearted Man
The hard hearted man gives thanks to him self
As he Pats himself on the back
He takes credit for all that he has
Never once acknowledging God
He says I am the master of my life
I am the king of my domain
There is no God you'll hear him say
I'm the only one in control
He celebrates Christmas
He celebrates Easter
But only to eat and to give and get presents
He could care less for Christ's birth and resurrection
You might hear him say
Jesus did some good things
But that's all you'll get
From the hard hearted man
The hard hearted man is easy to spot
He has no peace he clings to earthly joy
And with in his soul is a deep empty void
If he would except there is a God
And except Jesus Christ
He'd be a soft hearted man
With a powerful life
