The Halloween Store
Hesitantly I walked into the Halloween store
Afraid of all the macabre decor
Witches laughed in the aisles nearby
And there were other sounds such as bloody curdling cries
Spiderwebs hung all over the place
And dismembered hung an agonized face
"Don't be frightened" an employee told me
"Such is the spirit of Halloween"
I could not find the costume I wanted to wear
As a matter of fact there were no costumes there
I turned to leave the frightening place
But the door slammed shut right in my face!
The employees gathered and slowly walked towards me
Their sinister intentions as plain as can be
This was not a Halloween store at all
But merely a front for this sinister ball
