The Guardian
She is my guardian that holds me tight
When life is so dark she is my light
Her hair is white like a snowy day
Wrapped in her wings, I feel no dismay
Her face is smooth, not a blemish in sight
She’s here to protect with all her might
From all the evils that cross my path
They will have to face her vengeful wrath
When I was little I got lost coming home
The path in the woods I decided to roam
The darkness came like a blink of an eye
I did not know where to go, started to cry
Then I looked up and what did I see
Wings of an angel wrapping around me
She held me close, I felt safe from harm
She got me home, back to my farm
She is my guardian angel, with me now
I’m grown up but I know somehow
If I need her she will always be near
And on that day I will have no fear
For she will wrap me in her wings of love
Sent from the almighty heavens above
I have a guardian and you do to
Someone who passed,
Someone who loved you
