The Greedy and Powerful

How many blood and lives will it take, 'Till you see the destruction you make? How many tears should a mother shed? For you to cease this bloodshed? You said you were going to lead us, We thought you will make us one. But look what happened to us, Fighting under the same sun. Listen to your people's sigh, hear your innocent victim’s cry. Your greed brought us nothing but pain, While you greedily savor the power you gain. Now I wonder how you sleep at night, When you’re the one who made this fight. Our freedom and rights, you stole, To make your selfish dream whole.
