The Great Wall
Built from a brick into a cell
I'm a life-giving cell in a shell
Beneath the long shadow you cast
Deep within your soul of cement
We treasure more than the silk we sell
The world will know our power as well
High perpendicular the dreams you overcast
Can be seen a peoples greatest feat
History stands at the edge like a waterfall
Below the great monument lies our hell
Our legacy of obedience and descipline
A dynasty rising from the oriental plane
A thousand years of history you do tell
That atop the Himalayas freedom dwells
Spreading like a wind blown document
The great wall is our lasting testament
