The Great Orphan Escape of 1922

The great orphan escape of 1922 Todd, Eravine, Sally, Willie and Lou Escaped from the horror of Miss Pedelson's zoo Away from the moldy bread they flew (And they would have taken with them you) In the great orphan escape of 1922 The cooks were cooking While the cops were looking The bookies were booking But they kept overlooking The escapee orphans o' 22 Those five kids found a chest And in that chest was a vest A vest made of gold In the uncold wold Where hid the orphans of 1922 They came back rich But they never snitched Never spoke, never told Of their hidden, high wold That the orphans uncovered Ere, they discovered' From the great orphan escape of 1922
