The Grammys

The Grammys put on quite a show, With singers young and aging Combining all their talents on Some fresh and flashy staging. How special having Paul and Ringo, Willie Nelson, Carole King, Pink, Beyoncé, Lorde, Jay Z, All brought together just to sing. While watching as the audience Was grooving to each other’s sound, It was a sure reminder that Life’s better with a song around. For music has the power To inspire and delight; But even more, it closes gaps And helps us to unite.

Yep, I missed them too...I'm sure you know how many songs Carol King wrote? 'Locomotion' for Little Eva and 'Up on the Roof' for The Drifters to name a VERY few...Thanks for this my friend! - Tim

Music soothe's the savage beast. It raises the spirit just like yeast. :) So bake it at 375 and your surely bound to stay alive. Eclectic joining's bridge the gap. Where evil angst fills it with ... . Peace. :) Once again the rhyme dictates a direction. Please forgive the distasteful dots. :)

I missed them last night. Sounds like they showcased the talent of both the old and the new. Good write as usual, Ilene.
