The Grammys
The Grammys put on quite a show,
With singers young and aging
Combining all their talents on
Some fresh and flashy staging.
How special having Paul and Ringo,
Willie Nelson, Carole King,
Pink, Beyoncé, Lorde, Jay Z,
All brought together just to sing.
While watching as the audience
Was grooving to each other’s sound,
It was a sure reminder that
Life’s better with a song around.
For music has the power
To inspire and delight;
But even more, it closes gaps
And helps us to unite.
