The Gods Must Be Crazy
The Gods must be crazy
Blessing longer lives to ailing some
while snatching from many young,
Showering immense riches on few
as hunger strikes to those not getting their due,
Sufferings made for the very kind
flourish the rogues as you pretend to be blind,
Educated subdued to work under fools
Assigned deep digging in dark but no tools,
Oh Gods! You must be crazy !
Did you allow flowers to bloom without Spring ?
Then how in fuming passion one can sing ?
Could dark clouds fly without swift wind ?
Then how bruises of soul can heal tamarind ?
You gave us courage
and then parting,
You gave us hope
and then despair,
You gave us faith
and then disgust,
You blessed us peace
and then put to war,
Are we the marionettes and you the puppeteer ?
Gods you must be crazy, yes you are crazy !!
