The Glass Wall
Marks on the wall from
Her failed efforts
Scratches on the wall from
Her losing battle
The glass wall that stands tall
She sits on a pool of excrement
Her body covered in filth
Defeated, destroyed and hopeless
Her eyes dim, her walk crippled
The glass wall, the painful crawl
No air, she suffers unfair
Her freedom and dream bottled
In a glass wall, a glass roof and a glass floor
She screams the screams unheard
She dreams the dreams only blurred
The glass wall, the dark fall
