The Glamorous Plight
Maybe if I spoke your language
Then you would understand
If more blood was on my hands,
We could be better friends
Perhaps I'm missing out
But I doubt that's the case,
I don't stab people in the back
After smiling in their face
Feeding off the drama,
Stirring up the strife
Right hand with a white flag,
Left hand with a knife
Your life must be fantastic
You must feel great,
Like a Hollywood actress
What's it like to be a snake?
Living for the chaos
Hating when it's calm
Wiping blood from your mouth,
Like you've done no wrong
Constantly in character
Different role everyday
It must me tough to keep track
Of all the characters you play
You switch up a like a pro
Nailed it to a tee,
Perfected being phony
And fake as can be
Deserving of an Oscar
Flawless display
But you don't seem too happy,
Is everything okay?
Pretending like it's good,
Deep down you know it's not
Your karma's going to catch you
Don't tell me you forgot
You didn't honestly think
That you would get away
With all the damage you've done,
You know you're going to pay
You're at the edge of a mountain,
A great pile of evil deeds
You should start praying now,
Because the fall looks mighty steep
