The Gift
I rise today from slumber a new person.
Strong and vibrant as the wind.
I write
I think
I speak
I feel
I touch
I am the embodiment of His Creation.
What will be today is done,
but I am alive with hope.
Just for today, I can do all above.
Just for today, I am what He Created.
