The Gestalt

In the beginning were the words—just eight, Brittle and apparently unrelated, Though mysteriously God was, As always, already there in the words. Then the words tenuously seemed to point to God. Soon there emerged a description of Him: He is the immutable and formidable Being! However bereft of faith I might have been before, Now demurely I approached the Almighty. Now that I had the sketch of the Divine design, My interlude of a prayer went up. And I hope to be answered. Come to think of it, the words Seem to have a gestalt divine! *** (Winner, Eight Word Challenge-5 Contest, sponsored by John Hamilton, Nov. 11, 2017)
