The Game of Life

The Game Of Life This game of life we're livin' is full of hate and sinnin' It seems no matter how hard we push there's just no winnin'. God put you here for a reason but sometimes we sit and wonder why. We wonder why, at the same time wanting to break down and cry but we were taught a little different not to cry but just be strong We're fighting in this war as one but not where we belong. This game of life is confusing... If God made it that easy we wouldn't face these challenges and there would be no such thing as losing We're already in hell tryin' to make it to heaven; but the things we gotta do to make it takes us straight to court and we're charged like 9/11. This game of life is addicting... Then it's back to the street to the life that we know hustlin' harder than before just tryin' to stay low. It's not that simple; not everyone can win. They hand you the papers and ask who is next of kin Damn, we lost another one in this crazy game of life a sigh of relief fills you, cause' that could have been your wife. This game of life is the life we know; and this game of life is too much to hold. So we wait for the day but until that day comes we'll hold our heads high and never forsake. By: Aleasha A. Martin
