The Game

My heart now bitter cold Trying to rid your memory How I wish to forget you forever It would be much easier for me You took my heart and played your game I was dealt the losing hand Now, I'm left to suffer the consequence It's time for me to take a stand Never again will you see my face Your game I no longer play Get on with your pathetic life Right here is where I'll stay Someone will come along She'll play you in return You will then be the fool And tread that bridge you will soon burn Remember all that you once did It all comes back times three Your pay-back will be here soon And you'll get the hand you once dealt me While I'm getting on with my life You'll be sitting, head in your hand My days will be carried out in happiness While you're playing the losing hand
