The Funeral
Let us not cry for those who are dead
We should not inhabit paths of regret
not linger on what we should have said
When they left they removed all debt
Knowing one day we will follow them
We should not inhabit paths of regret
Remove tattered cloth sew up the hem
Approach each day with a new joy
Knowing one day we will follow them
I remember being just a boy
If only I could recapture him
Approach each day with a new joy
So I listen to the funeral hymn
Let us not cry for those who are dead
If only I could recapture him
not linger on what we should have said
The first line was from a Poem by Fiery Red called
"Graveyard Diggers- a frustrated quest"
