The Fruit of Wisdom Is Often Bitter

the surface it shimmers & sparks in the sun but as i'm picturing depths, walls of protections & flesh undone i wonder, to toss aside the time tested knowledge in favor of a newer, seeming sweeter flavor would i find the truth of it, the heart, the flesh, the pit to be the same as in all things that carry a seed?
