The Foyer of the Heart

The Foyer Of The Heart In the center there’s a hollow small, enclosed, oval like a locket called the foyer of the heart. There the bullets carom while the widow, room to room, hunts her man around the house. Donal Mahoney

cute poem and sad. Don't want to be a widow. Sounds like you led an interesting life. My dad talks about the jewish merchants in our small southern town, what great salesmen they were. it is comical. Like you said they were characters.
