The First Wonder of the World
Dawn is when the sunrise kisses the night.
The wisdom of the moon introduces the new day.
I sit in the sand amazed every time I watch her beauty rise.
Millions of photos taken of the event and not one alike.
Nature awakens and life welcomes her with a good morning.
I can close my eyes and imagine God saying,” Let there be light!”
Then open them to see the first wonder of the world.
