The First Snowfall

The First Snowfall Twinkling, glistening Happy the glow Early this morning For winter’s first snow Illumined the shimmer Reflections of love Softly they fall Tiny flakes from above Settling white Neath an evergreen sway Open your eyes Windows bring the display Frost covered whispers Aloft they now flow Lingering beautifully Look at the snow 12/26/2016 Written for the Winter-Related Acrostic Poem Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Janice Canerdy
