The First Sight

When I first saw that face, I could not believe that my race, Had such a miracle, My doubtful and sinful eyes Met hers, which fully resembled sapphires. An enigmatic smile kissed Her sculptured lips, I wanted to hear her voice To see god’s choice, It seemed as if all the beauty, In the world, Was hers. No one could change, The working of god, Her hair changed from black, red and gold. It seemed as if the sun, Had disobeyed to see turn. I wanted to ask her name, But she had turned around the corner all the same I wanted to run to her-fast But didn’t have the courage to. That night she presented herself In my waking haunting fortress For which I would rather you didn’t press, Such feelings I held for her in a spell Which were like enchantment in a cell I didn’t want to live without seeing her I didn’t want to go without seeing her I didn’t want to be without her…………………………. I saw her again ……… She was laughing She was happy With someone else Wearing a ring She was content She was ………. Beautiful. And she didn’t need me I needed her But she was not mine She was gone She would have a life But not with me She would be happy But not with me She would have her firsts But not with me She would grow old But not with me I was in love But the girl I loved wasn’t mine People before I go This is love It’s not only that It’s weakness, It’s devotion, It’s affection, It’s irresistible, It’s fondness It’s blindness It’s an awakening It’s worship It’s something to die for…….
