In its hearth, the reds and blues A life of its own, for us to use A warmth is given on cold eves And adds romance, if one believes No truer picture can provide Than love near to the fireside The heat, with embers burning bright Serve well to make a warmer night When the fire should die down Two lovers heart still stay around
