The Fire of Love

The Fire of Love By Rick Rucker I guess I knew it, when we met, Away from You, I would never get, The seeds of my destruction had been sewn, On The Wings of Love, my Heart had flown, On that Magical Sunday morning, You assaulted my senses, without warning, Subtly, and skillfully, You picked my brain apart, so willfully, With your style, and Grace, And your oh, so Lovely, face, Like a moth, drawn to a flame, I can see, my Fate will be the same, But, as I continuously burn, For relief, I shall not yearn, I want to ever bask in Love’s Fire, In fact, Let the Tendrils rise ever Higher!
