The Fire
The Fire
Starting with the right element mixture
Oxygen, fuel and ignition, it’s fixture
Starting as a small ember, showing a glow
Slight burst, the smallest of fire starts to show
Adding to the fire more fuel and oxygen mix
The slow embers start to dance, swirl and kick
The mesmerizing kaleidoscope stills your mind
All the sights and crackling sounds intertwined
The fiery embers casting their dance of shadows and light
The smoke bellows, then dissipate from within your sight
Rage of the fire grows, the enveloping show a wondrous delight
Tremendous heat engulfing everything within its fiery might
Staring into it’s glow, as if you were cast by a spell
Feeling the warmth of it’s fire hug, the aromatic smell
You notice the calmness that seemingly takes control
As your mind drifts off, no worries, such a peaceful soul
