The Fight of My Life
I step into the boxing ring and my opponent looks like Goliath
Her swings are harder than any blow I received from others
She throws a left hook of "you'll never be good enough"
Then delivers a punch of "your not smart enough"
She continues to beat me down with her blows of tormenting words
Knocking the breath out of me taking my confidence
My legs feel weak from the constant chasing her around the ring
I've knocked out many opponents before, but this Goliath always comes back for more
Her tactics are never new but she has yet to be defeated
The bell rings
I realize, I've been fighting myself
