The Fifth Season
the season of blessings is season of rains,
showers from heavens for humanities gains,
the rumbling thunder with the low flying clouds,
with a crack of lightening blitzing aloud!
the tipper tapper then comes waltzing down tracks,
plants green with glee as rain waters drying cracks,
the wild geese cackle while the ducks take cover,
how welcome to earth is this holy shower!
season of rain is the season in between,
punctuating earth changes frequently seen,
tornados and hurricanes blow the place down,
then rain comes dancing in her shiny gown.
winter has its snow and autumn its colours,
summer brings joy and spring myriad flowers,
my favourite season is season of rain,
without which other seasons would be in vain!
the four seasons have slots and each last three months,
but rainy season is for the whole twelve months,
you can pass an year without summer or spring,
year without rains will many miseries bring!
each season comes and brings its own cheer,
but heavens open up when the rains appear!
go shower in the rain, let skin drip wet,
the closest embrace from God you will ever get!
